To upload a savegame to this site, you must first have an account. Once you have that, you need to get some sort of USB drive. On your PS3, with the drive plugged in, navigate to Games > Saved Data Utility, find any number of savegames that you want to upload, pressing triangle and choosing to copy each of them to the USB drive.
Now, plug the USB drive into your PC or Mac or whatever you use, find the folder named PS3 and zip it. Then, simply upload it - the site will take care of the rest.
Downloading savegames is dead simple. On this site, click on the name of the save you want, and you'll be given a .zip file. Simply unzip this file onto a USB stick (the folder should be 'PS3'), then on your PS3, with the drive plugged in, navigate to Games > Saved Data Utility, and enter the USB Drive. For each of the saves that you want to copy to your PS3, press triangle and choose the copy option.
This site is designed to be used in the PS3's browser. So yes, all the giant fonts and forms elsewhere have a purpose - to be readable on your tv from a distance. Similarily, the content area is so small so that it is able to fit on an SD screen without any horizontal scrollbars.
I watermark the thumbnails because I put a lot of effort into making the system that generates them, and I prefer that other sites not benefit from my work. I did not make a single theme on this site - they are all submitted by someone, but I do feel bad because the watermark may lead some people to believe that I made the themes. These same "some people" likely can't read the author's name listed by the theme
You only need to register if you upload and want to have the theme associated with you. To register, click here. No email notifications or confirmations needed.
I provide easy BBCode and HTML embedding stuff for a reason. Put links and screenshots and stuff into forums and blogs. It's free and always will be.
If you see your theme here, but it is out of date, or doesn't have you listed as an author, email me trex@ps3files.net and we can talk and get that fixed.
There are 3 programs I know about to make PS3 Themes.. Theme Creator and Theme Builder are both nice GUI programs, and Sony's Theme Editor which takes in an XML file with pointers to the images. These all come with readmes and guides, but please make sure that you include all the icons - your theme looks rather crummy with a default icon here and there.
To upload a theme, register if you want. and then go to upload, select the PS3 file and hit the upload button. It'll take a minute, and then you may get a screen saying something about dreamhost. If you do, don't worry - your theme uploaded just fine - go to the Themes page and it should be there.
If you're viewing this site through a PS3 right now, just download the file by clicking on the preview image of it. Once that is done, go to Settings > Theme Settings and choose the Theme to apply it.
If you're viewing this site on ..not a PS3 right now, you have more work to do because you aren't using the site as intended. And also you'll need a USB drive. On that drive, make a folder called PS3. Then inside of that, a folder called THEME. When you save the theme file (by clicking on the preview imge), that's where you'll save it. Then you will need to plus the USB drive into the PS3, go to Settings > Theme Settings > Install and choose the file from the USB drive.
